LET'S GET LIT
like all good things, our wooden crackling wicks can be a bit extra at times, so we suggest following our candle care guide below to give the best care to your big wick
CANDLE CARE GUIDE
-
Tilt your Wick
Tilt your candle slightly when lighting your big wick and hold the flame where the wax meets your wood. Keep the flame on the candle for 10 seconds or until your wick is visibly lit and crackling.
-
Burn your Wood
Burn your candle for 2-3 hours until there is an even pool of wax. If you don’t do this, your candle will tunnel and burn unevenly.
-
Clean your Wick
No one likes a dirty wick! Before relighting, use a wick trimmer or nail clippers to remove the burnt area of your wick and tap out any debris. This will ensure your wick relights easily and your wax remains clean.

Don't Lick a Flame
We didn’t think we’d need to tell you this but apparently we do...Never leave a burning flame unattended or near flammable objects or babies, children or pets. We apparently also need to tell you not to be witless enough to touch a naked flame or get hot wax on yourself as it will hurt. Whilst we’re at it, don’t try and eat or drink this either. P. S. The candle jar is glass, therefore it gets hot when lit, as it is a candle, with hot wax, on fire.
